ഖുർആൻ പറയുന്നു: "നിശ്ചയമായും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മതം ഇസ്ലാം ആണ്." Quran parayunnu: "Nishchayamaayum Allahuvinte adukkal matham Islam aanu." (3:19) Ivide Allahu ariyikkunnathu — Islam allaathe avan sweekarikkunna mattoru mathamilla ennaanu. Islam ennaal Allahuvinu swayam samarppikkuka, avane maathram aaraadhikkuka, avanilum avante doothanmarilum avar konduvannathilum vishvasikkuka ennaanu.
The Quran says: "Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam." (3:19) Here Allah tells us that there is no religion He accepts except Islam — meaning to submit fully to Allah, to worship Him alone, and to believe in Him and in what His messengers brought.

Oro doothanum Allahu oru niyamavyavastheyum reethiyum nishchayichu — oduvil avasaanathe doothanaaya Muhammad ﷺ ye ayakkunnathuvare, addhehathe ellaa janangalilekkum ayachu. Athinushesham, Muhammad ﷺ konduvanna Islam allaathe Allahu aaril ninnum oru matham sweekarikkukayilla.
For each messenger, Allah prescribed a system of law and a method — until He sent the last of them, Muhammad ﷺ, to all people. After him, Allah will not accept any religion from anyone except the Islam that he brought.

Were the earlier prophets "Muslims"?
പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ മതം ഒന്നാണ്, നിയമവ്യവസ്ഥകൾ വ്യത്യസ്തമായിരുന്നാലും. നൂഹ് ﷺ, ഇബ്രാഹീം ﷺ, മൂസ ﷺ, ഈസ ﷺ — എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളെ "മുസ്ലിംകൾ" (സമർപ്പിതർ) എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചു. ഖുർആൻ ഈസ ﷺ യുടെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെപ്പോലും ഇങ്ങനെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കുന്നു: "ഞങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചു, ഞങ്ങൾ സമർപ്പിതരാണ് (മുസ്ലിംകൾ) എന്ന് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുക."
Pravaachakanmaarude matham onnaanu, niyamavyavasthakal vyathyasthamaayirunnaalum. Nooh ﷺ, Ibraaheem ﷺ, Moosa ﷺ, Eesa ﷺ — ellaavarum thangale "Muslimkal" (samarppithar) ennu visheshippichu. Quran Eesa ﷺ yude shishyanmaarepolum inganeyaanu udharikkunnathu: "Njangal vishvasichu, njangal samarppitharaanu (Muslimkal) ennu saakshyam vahikkuka."
The religion of the prophets is one, even though their systems of law differed. Nuh ﷺ, Ibrahim ﷺ, Musa ﷺ, and ‘Isa ﷺ all described themselves as "Muslims" — those who submit. The Quran even quotes the disciples of ‘Isa ﷺ saying, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims."
"നബിമാർ ഞങ്ങൾ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ മതം ഒന്നാണ്, നബിമാർ വിവിധ മാതാക്കളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ പോലെയാണ്."

മുഹമ്മദ് ﷺ ക്ക് ശേഷം ഒരു വഴി മാത്രം

After Muhammad ﷺ, one path remains
ഓരോ കാലത്തും അല്ലാഹു ആ ജനതയ്ക്ക് അനുയോജ്യമായ നിയമം നിശ്ചയിച്ചു — ഒരു കാലത്തെ നിയമം പിന്നീട് മാറ്റപ്പെടും. ഇത് ആ മതം ഒന്നല്ല എന്നല്ല അർത്ഥം, ഖിബ്ല ബൈത്തുൽ മഖ്ദിസിൽ നിന്ന് കഅ്ബയിലേക്ക് മാറിയത് പോലെ ഒരു നിയമവ്യവസ്ഥയ്ക്കുള്ളിൽ തന്നെ മാറ്റം വരാം. എന്നാൽ അവസാന ദൂതൻ വന്നശേഷം, അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പിന്തുടരാതെ മറ്റൊരു വഴി സ്വീകാര്യമല്ല.
Oro kaalathum Allahu aa janathaykku anuyojyamaaya niyamam nishchayichu — oru kaalathe niyamam pinnedu maattappedum. Ithu aa matham onnalla ennalla artham, Qiblah Baithul Maqdisil ninnu Ka'bayilekku maariyathu pole oru niyamavyavasthaykkullil thanne maattam varaam. Ennaal avasaana doothan vannashesham, addhehathe pinthudaraathe mattoru vazhi sweekaaryamalla.
In every era, Allah prescribed a law suited to that people, and later abrogated parts of it — as when the direction of prayer changed from Bayt al-Maqdis to the Ka'bah — without that meaning the religion itself was more than one. But once the final messenger came, no path other than following him remains acceptable.
"ആരെങ്കിലും ഇസ്ലാം അല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊരു മതം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ, അത് ഒരിക്കലും അവനിൽ നിന്ന് സ്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടില്ല, പരലോകത്തിൽ അവൻ നഷ്ടക്കാരിൽ ഒരാളായിരിക്കും."
"Aarenkilum Islam allaathe mattoru matham aagrahikkunnu enkil, athu orikkalum avanil ninnu sweekarikkappedilla, paralokathil avan nashtakkaaril oraayaayirikkum."
"And whoever desires other than Islam as religion, never will it be accepted from him, and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter."

അല്ലാഹു അവസാനത്തെ ദൂതനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സമൂഹത്തിനും ഈ അനുഗ്രഹം ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു: "ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് നിങ്ങളുടെ മതം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി, എന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിങ്ങളിൽ പൂർണ്ണമാക്കി, ഇസ്ലാമിനെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മതമായി തൃപ്തിപ്പെട്ടു." (5:3)
Allahu avasaanathe doothanum addhehathinte samoohathinum ee anugraham ormippikkunnu: "Innu Njaan ningalkku ningalude matham poorthiyaakki, ente anugraham ningalil poornnamaakki, Islamine ningalkku mathamaayi thruptippettu." (5:3)
Allah reminds the final Prophet and his ummah of this blessing: "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion." (5:3)
അല്ലാഹുവിന് നല്ലതായി അറിയാം.
Allahuvinu nallathaayi ariyaam.
